Glory

To God be the glory, great things He has done, So loved He the world that He gave us His Son, Who gave up His life so we could be free, And opened the way for eternity. Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, Let the whole world hear His voice; Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, Let every heart rejoice; Come to the Father through Jesus the Son, Give Him the glory — great things He has done. Perfect redemption, bought by His blood, The promise of God to all who believe; The worst of sinners who truly trusts, In that moment finds pardon from Jesus. Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, Let the whole world hear His voice; Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, Let every heart rejoice; Come to the Father through Jesus the Son, Give Him the glory — great things He has done. Great things He has taught us, great things He has done, And great is our joy through Jesus the Son; But purer and higher and greater will be Our wonder, our joy when His face we see. From the cross to the throne, the victory is won, The Lamb has prevailed, the battle is done. No grave could hold Him, no darkness could stay, He rose in glory — forever He reigns! So lift every voice, let the heavens resound, All glory to Christ, our Savior is crowned!
